Fall 2018

A Note from our CEO

All leaders need professional development. Whether you are a Fortune 500 CEO, nonprofit executive, or elected official. Our interconnected, competitive world means that you have to adapt quickly to execute on strategy and navigate through change. For our final newsletter of 2018, our theme is focused on LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT, which represents one of our three core consulting areas (along with Strategic Planning and Community Empowerment).

In this issue, we’re announcing the launch of two new initiatives, Executive Leadership Lab (Nov. 15, 2018 in Beverly Hills) and Global Social Enterprise  Summit (March 22-24, 2019 at UCLA). We are also launching our podcast series, featuring Joe Monbleau, CEO of Train 1 Feed 1 and current client of tsig. And our newsletter would not be complete without highlighting one of our own leaders, Shimiki Stringer, Senior Associate, who is one of the reasons why we’ve been able to have 100% success rate on our issue-based campaigns.

Summer 2018

The last three months have seen much internal growth for the strategic insights group. We spent the last quarter building our operations and infrastructure, as we began to tackle even more complex social issues. In short, we built our own capacity in order to better serve our clients and community.

Little did we know that our internal growth would prepare us to respond to changes across the mission-driven sector. The best way to support the sector? Through capacity building. This newsletter provides two vignettes on how we helped to build capacity for nonprofit leaders in Santa Barbara and immigrant communities across Texas to reunite children and families.

We need more than one newsletter to continue to address these challenges, so have provided additional resources under our Insights section of our website.

Let us know how we can help your leadership or organizational growth.

All the best,
