Consultant

The Background. the strategic insights group is the premier mission-driven consulting firm in Los Angeles, California. We are seeking a part-time consultant who can add to the team’s knowledge around strategic planning, leadership development and evaluations.

The Expectations. This is a management-level position that will be responsible for leading and cultivating the strategic insight group’s consultancy practice. The Consultant reports directly to the CEO and will assist in bringing in new clientele for the firm. The consultant will be responsible for managing a portfolio of projects, developing innovative approaches to evaluation in line with our social and equity mission, cultivating our brand and business, and supervising junior level staff. Key duties include:

The Details. The Consultant must have a Masters Degree in Public Administration, Public Policy, Sociology, Liberal Arts, or other relevant field and at least five years of similar work experience. In addition, we are looking for someone who embodies:

2. Executive Assistant to CEO

[Closing August 15, 2019; Start date by August/September 2019]​

The Background. This is part-time position working with the CEO directly. If you are a self-starter, fast learner and write well, this may be the position for you. You get to work with a leading social entrepreneur in the industry who also happens to be a master executive coach, author and international speaker. ​

The Expectations. The Executive Assistant helps executives run an organization or company smoothly. They perform administrative and clerical duties and can be a thought-partner with the CEO. They might arrange conference calls and meetings, make travel arrangements, compose correspondence, review memos and reports, conduct research, create presentations and prepare statistical reports. This individual must be highly adaptable and tolerate some ambiguity, as no two days are alike. Giving and receiving feedback is critical to this role and will make for a more enjoyable work environment. ​

The Details. This Executive Assistant needs to be able to manage up to the CEO. They are an integral part of the team and will help with most client projects, both big and small. In addition, we’re looking for the following to be completed: ​

3. Business Development Manager

The Background. Due to a promotion in our team, we are hiring s Business Development Manager to take over a mix of existing accounts and new sales territory. To excel in this role you should be an active listener, have a compelling sales personality, and a hunger to chase and close new business from cold calls and inbound warm leads.​

4. Executive Coach

The Background. the strategic insights group (tsig) is building out a new division of Executive Seminars/Leadership Workshops for business executives in the Los Angeles Metropolitan Area. Since we already offer executive coaching with our clients, this is a natural extension of our growth and development. We plan to offer our first series of workshops in November 2019.​
